Il est temps pour Subaru Natsuki de profiter pleinement de son pouvoir, et cette fois-ci véritablement dans un jeu vidéo. Avec Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World: The Prophecy of the Throne essayez de sauver tout ceux que vous pouvez ou recommencez depuis un point fixe dans le passé. Une histoire originale disponible entre le 28 janvier et le 5 février 2021 sur PC, PS4 et Nintendo Switch.

Entre visual novel et RPG

Un mois après l’arrivée de Subaru au Royaume de Lugnica, un émissaire est envoyé pour annoncer le report de la sélection royale. Alertés par cette nouvelle aussi soudaine qu’inattendue, Subaru et les serviteurs du Manoir Roswaal mènent l’enquête. Un sixième candidat s’est présenté, défiant la prophétie de la Pierre de Dragon. Un candidat est de trop, et Emilia semble la cible idéale dans ce complot.

Le jeu profite de son aspect RPG pour nous offrir la possibilité de visiter les diverses régions et zones. Il tire également partie de cet aspect là en proposant des combats en tour par tour stratégiques. Mais les origines ne sont pas oubliés, profitant d’être un visual novel pour faire appel aux artistes originaux de la série : Tappei Nagatsuki à l’écriture et Shinichirou Otsuka au chara design.
